The DigiTenna mounts inside the Amana brand DigiSmart PTAC, hidden from sight. It is powered through the PTAC and requires no batteries. It is required for any of the DigiSuite RF wireless devices to communicate with the Amana brand DigiSmart PTAC.The DigiTenna communicates to any of the Amana DigiSmart suite of devices via an encrypted 2.4 GHz signal using the 802.15 Zigbee standard. Some Amana brand DigiSmart PTACs may require upgrades to the latest DigiSmart software to allow RF devices to be linked to the control.For use with :
